Introduction

The branch meets each month (except August), on the third Saturday in the large hall of Cotham Parish Church, Cotham Road, Bristol BS6 6DQ at the junction of Cotham Road and St Michael's Hill. The number 72 bus stops right outside. There are also frequent buses from the Centre to Clifton Down - a 5 min. walk from the church. The hall and toilets have wheel chair access.

Here is a map of the area.

Meetings run from 2:30 - 5:30pm with a break for tea. Currently please bring your own interval refreshments. Visitors are always welcome. Music is provided, but please bring a music stand.

Rachel Mason is running a group for less experience players called Stoke Gifford Recorder Players which meets regularly on Monday mornings in term-time in St Michael's Church Stoke Gifford (adjacent to Bristol Parkway Station). The group play solo, consort and ensemble music as well as preparing music for SRP meetings and occasional performances in the local community. New members are always welcome. Contact Rachel rachel.mason@gmx.com.

The Branch also runs an Ensemble Section under the name of the Blockflute Band which prepares works for public performance. Click here for more information.
