Bristol Branch Ensemble Section Bristol Branch Ensemble SectionThe Blockflute Band provides an opportunity for members to perform in concerts and to give a wider public exposure of the recorder and to raise funds for charity.
We are planning another Blockflute Band Concert on Friday 28th November 2025 at 7.30pm. A venue and a charity to support are still under discussion; your suggestions welcome. Weekly rehearsals will start on 16th October, hopefully in our usual venue (Room 1 of Westbury Park Methodist Church Hall, 4 North View, BS6 7QB at.7.30-9.30pm), but tbc. The final rehearsal will be on 27th November in the concert venue. You should attend the final rehearsal and at least five of the other six rehearsals.
The music to be played is still under consideration and will depend partly on who is available to play. Any suggestions welcome.
