Bristowe Consort Repertoire
All members of the Bristowe Consort play descant, treble, tenor and bass instruments and some also, sopranino,
great bass and contra bass. We play a wide range of music usually from four to six parts from 14th to 18th Century and also the 20th
and 21st Centuries. Below is a list of some of the music in our repertoire. With the availability of the large instruments we are
able to play many of the renaissance pieces at 8' pitch. e.g a quartet normally played on descant, treble, tenor and bass recorders
can be played on tenor, bass, great bass and contra bass.
